Rose Rewane-Dafinone Managing Director
With over 25 years experience in the Nigerian Petroleum industry, Rose
Rewane-Dafinone is well known in the industry having spent 21 years in
the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and the Nigerian National
Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in various capacities including Public
Relations, Training and Materials Management. She is presently the
Managing Director of RERWOD Holdings Limited.
While at DPR, Rose formulated and implemented press and public relations
strategies as the Assistant Director of Public Affairs. She was also
responsible for organizing International Seminars, Trade fairs,
Exhibitions and Project commissioning. She was a member of the Nigerian
government delegation to OPEC Countries, during the election of Dr.
Rilwanu Lukman as OPEC Secretary General.
Rose retired in 1999 as Manager-Materials Administration (NNPC-NAPIMS)
where she ensured proper monitoring of Materials utilization in
Joint-Venture companies (Upstream sector) for efficient cost control.
Rose Rewane-Dafinone holds an executive MBA from Penn State, a MS in
Education from Lesley College, Cambridge Massachusetts and a BA in
Sociology from the University of Ibadan. She is on the board of a number
of companies
